Breathing
Turn your breathing into a powerful tool
Conscious breathing has been used in ancient traditions for thousands of years, with techniques such as pranayamas. However, most of those used today began with the awakening of spiritual consciousness in the 1960s, and continue to evolve through different programs, scientific research and studies.
These techniques allow us to relax and calm the mind in times of stress, as well as help us to let go of control, enhance understanding and resolution of unresolved issues, being a great ally in the practice of releasing traumas, patterns and limiting beliefs.

Different breathing techniques
In our workshops and retreats we will use different techniques such as:
- Pranayama breathing: we will perform a set of exercises that will help us control and regulate breathing. We will combine this technique with the practice of yoga as it will allow us to connect with ourselves and in this way carry out a comprehensive practice of movements, postures, introspection, meditation and unblocking.
- Conscious breathing: we will focus on diverting attention to different points to focus on inhalation and exhalation. For example, we will fix our eyes on our nose, which will automatically block any negative thoughts.
- Deep or abdominal breathing: this technique focuses on using the diaphragm to breathe. First we will place one hand on our chest and the other on our abdomen, then we will inhale deeply through our nose, making sure that our abdomen rises more than our chest, and finally, we will exhale slowly through our mouth.
- Dynamic, holotropic breathing or breathwork: this combines breath control, music, supervision in practice and work focused on unblocking energy. It begins with gentle breathing and gradually increases the pace until each participant finds their own breathing. It ends with a few minutes of silent meditation to settle what has been experienced.
The benefits of conscious breathing
Becoming aware of our breathing, as well as using each of these techniques will allow us to control stress, eliminate tension, relax, stimulate memory, increase concentration, sleep better, balance the mind and reconnect with the past to heal wounds and traumas.
We invite you to experience the benefits of breathing techniques in a serene and relaxing environment. Our yoga workshops and retreats are designed to offer you an escape from daily stress, allowing you to immerse yourself in the practice and discover a more balanced and joyful version of yourself.
