Conscious Nutrition

Open yourself to nourish your body consciously

The concept of conscious eating has its roots in the Buddhist practices of mindfulness, which focus on being fully present and aware in the here and now. It was popularized in the West by health and wellness experts, who recognized the importance of awareness in eating to combat problems such as obesity, eating disorders, and stress.

By being conscious, we learn to differentiate different emotional states, which helps us listen to our body, slow down its rhythm, and understand how we eat so that in this way we can balance the emotional relationship with food.

Different tools for conscious eating

In our workshops and retreats we will use different tools such as:

  • Mindful Eating: through the meditative practice of eating, it will allow us to be aware of the physiological and emotional sensations that we perceive while we do it.
  • Intuitive Eating: We will not only be attentive to observation, but we will also try to eat intuitively, eating only when we are truly physically hungry, beyond pre-established schedules and obligations, creating a scale or measurement of hunger.

The benefits of conscious eating

By delving into our relationship with food, we will be able to live in serenity and nourish ourselves in a comprehensive and conscious way. Among its benefits, it is worth highlighting that it facilitates the balance of hormones that generate emotional anxiety about eating, favors the production of different enzymes, decreases self-criticism and self-judgment, reduces stress, increases self-esteem and well-being.

We invite you to experience the benefits of conscious eating in a serene and relaxing environment.
Our workshops and retreats are designed to offer you an escape from everyday stress, allowing you to immerse yourself in the practice and discover a more balanced and happy version of yourself.
